So saddened to hear of Ashleys passing, she worked at the refinery canteen at one time, we quickly learned she could go toe to toe with the best of them with her quick wit and one liners, one of the funniest gals i've ever met, left a lasting impression with lots of the guys, one of a kind, condolences to her family and many friends, RIP funny girl.

Our hearts go out to you in this time of loss. We haven’t seen you in many years- we car pooled when our children were all in band together. Parents should never have to bury a child- unfortunately we know the sorrow in doing so. Hugs go out to you. Call if you need to. We are here- still in the same house.

To Kyle and the rest of the family and friends that knew Ashley I am terribly sorry for the loss, we all share Ashley was a beautiful and warm friendly person who not only opened her home but her heart to every person she met, she was funny, hard working,she was a devoted daughter and sister, and mother  and her laugh was one of a kind people would just know it was her in a room they didn't even have to look to know it was her. I want to say thank you to her for letting me be apart of her life and for being my friend you will be truly missed by all the people who's life's you touched , I hope you finally get the rest you deserve and are smiling down on us with your mom . It is the only word that I can think of to describe how hearing about your passing made me feel.
I know we have not spoken for some time but you have always been in my heart and Kevin & I often talk about the great times we had.
My heart breaks for Emma and the rest of your family but I hope that in time they can take comfort in your memory and in the knowledge that you will always be looking after them with your mom at your side.

You are one of the best people I've ever known and my life is better for having had you in it.

I'm sad to learn of this terrible news. My deepest sympathies to your family and all the lives you have touched.

You were the new kid in elementary school, you walked right up to me at recess and asked "want to be friends?". That's just the kind of sweet welcoming person you were. I will always treasure the countless childhood memories we made together. 

Only Ashley could handle these boys!

her laugh was contagious, and she was nothing but loving and fun energy.  

I have known you since high school. At first I met Jessica she became my friend first. Another friend of ours Erin invited me over to her place and she had told me you were gonna be there and I said to her, no way she doesn't like me she thinks I am the b word lol. However that night we got to know each other and every since than we became the best of friends with many ups and downs. I was constantly at your place for sleep overs. I am sure your mom Had thought she gained two more daughters jess and I. I was there when you got your drivers on the first try and you would pick me up for school. We would blast music and dance and sing to all the hip hop popular songs. Cooking was your passion and you were amazing at it, I gotta say all the food you made was superb. I know you were talking to Todd about your red seal certificate, and scared about trying for it. I said to him she should try she's amazing there was no doubt in my mind you would have got it. You helped me cope with the loss of my brother, I am still coping but you made it easier. It was always a blast and fun time with you, everyone who had the chance to meet you was truly blessed you lit up the room every where you went. I am truly truly grateful to have known you, I am really going to miss you so so much. But until we meet again it's not goodbye it see you later. Love you rest in peace my beautiful friend.

My heart is so heavy today, I just found out last night and I'm still in shock. I will miss you so much Ashley, you were such a beautiful soul and I will forever keep you in my memories. Rest is peace.

I’ve known her since I was 13 years old. We had our ups and downs. We were sisters. I was there when her mom passed. We just went through this in 2021 she loved she didn’t hold grudges. First day of grade 9 second semester at Miller we were separated in class. How we tented in the summer so we could sneak out when Tracey went to bed. Brady you used to sic of us he would bark. You loved your ice eating ice like you eat chips. You loved emma more than anything. You adored Dolly Dollfred your sweet pup and Nikki and Hope your sweet kitty cats. You loved animals. Kyle the two of you were a blast together feeding off eachothers goofiness. Being silly and making everyone in the room laugh. Your laugh, humour, smile, and love was contagious. You didn’t take things personal or get easily offended. It was fun to make fun of you and ourselves lol which we always did. You were a inspiration a positive influence. Many amazing, fun times. Few people knew all of you! I knew every inch and every scar inside and out. You were the peanut to my butter the cheese to my macoroni. The lock to my key. The reason Emma smiles. Now your the breeze through the trees, the sun in the sky, the rain refreshing nature. You hated grasshoppers, you hated olives, but you loved your cottage cheese, and KD. You taught how to love and accept myself.  Beaches was our movie! You were cece and I was Whitney. We were soul mates. “ you are the wind beneath my wings,” you also loved titanic and my heart will go on. All of our hearts will go on with you in it. Like cece told Whitney I know everything there is to know about you and my memory is long very long”  I love you forever and always my sweet weird wonderful sister! 

She is truly one of a kind and was the funniest person I have ever met. I am still in shock and feel heartbroken for Emma and her loved ones. Way to young to be taken!  Rest easy, friend
