I am so sorry I just found out that Art had passed. He was a king of Kings as far as a traveling companion, a boss, a husband, a father, a mentor, a dignitary, advisor, entertainer, and educator, most of all he was a lifelong friend of mine, these past years, we would touch base from time to time, he would always answer the phone when I called. No matter what was going on in his life he always had time for you even if he couldn’t find his beloved cat at the time, he would still talk to you. There are too many great memories with him traveling and throughout the years I will share one though.. in my youth, there’s nothing more than I wanted was to become an Air Canada employee. I would dress up in my most up-to-date clothing and request an audience with Art once a week and Regina after the fifth week I finally wore him down. His comment was.” this kid is dressed like he’s ready for Miami Vice. We better get him a job before they hire him.” I started working the next week.. I will miss him immensely. He’s truly made the world a better place. All you had to do was travel with him.. I love you Art and I’m truly sorry. I never got to say goodbye.

Art was my uncle, my father's younger brother. He was a fount of information when my sister and I were young. An example of this was him explaining how he lost half his baby finger. Turns out he lost it picking his nose! Put his baby finger up too far, couldn't get it out. Another pearl of information that he gave me. Was, not to play with my navel. Apparently I could poke a hole in my belly and end up flying around the room backward, just like a deflating balloon! Needless to say I do not pick my nose nor play with my belly button.
Uncle art was a comedian, and a grand storyteller. The glint in his eye, a flick of his tongue, you knew a story was just about to erupt. And they were funny and detailed. Complete with strange voices and accents. His hands would move, his face became rubber. He was brilliant. He was so much fun to be around.
 Art was also kind and generous. And from all accounts a beloved boss, and a beloved bus driver of handicapable children. A man of many hats. I had not seen my uncle in a few years. He in Saskatchewan, myself in Ontario. I would love to have seen him, listen to him, one more time before I lost him for good.
I'm laughing and crying as I write this.

We will always remember Art and his incredible larger than life personality. Always ready with his quick wit and hilarious ways. I am forever grateful to have known Art and witness the great friendship he shared with my Dad, Gus Florio, former Air Canada employee. My Dad spoke fondly of Art and his kindness. Without hesitation, Art jumped on a flight to pay his final respects to my Dad… Art’s selfless kindness will never be forgotten. I remember fondly his stories about his kids… specifically the time he clearly said after Andrea calling him while on vacation “Is the house on fire? No! Then why are you calling me?” Biggest hugs Andrea… sending you my prayers for peace and strength always♥️🙏

I met Arthur Judson in 1967 at the Air Canada office on Bloor Street. ART was one of my training Instructors. He was the most knowledgeable person that I knew in the company and his expertise went beyond Air Canada and covered the airline industry.
Art was respected for his support of staff and customers  and through the years he has managed in touch with me and many others

After the crash of AC 143  (The Gimili Glider)in Gimili Manitoba Art was part of the support team in Saskatchewan providing support and compensation to the passengers.  He ensured they went the extra mile for the passengers living in Saskatchewan. Giving the passengers the correct compensation for the event that the went through.

From the time I can remember I’d get so excited when “crazy Uncle Art” would come for a visit, it was always full of extreme laughter and outrageous stories! Uncle Art was the MC at my wedding in 1987 and he definitely stole the show! We couldn’t have had anyone better!! Uncle Art you’ll be forever loved & missed. Thanks for the years of laughter.  We know you’re keeping Heaven amused!

A company and personal friend for many years. We spoke frequently on the phone after he went to Regina of his trips with Andrea. His knowledge of Air Canada's workings was unmatched. He knew when things would happen even before Air Canada did. His advice and directions never failed. Even after retirement, staff called him for advice. A sad loss, and never to be forgotten.

Even though I knew you only a short time, you will have lasting memory in my heart . I came to know Andrea through work and knew how much she loved you by the way she talked about you. Love and hugs to Andrea and her family.

I am so sorry! Art Judson was an amazing personality, now he is no longer with us.

I was privileged to have worked at 130 Bloor St West when Art worked there as a manager in many different departments. He was a very dignified and charming man worthy only of the best. His work was a true reflection of himself, full of integrity, goodness, and diligence. 

I wish Art’s family and friends peace and comfort in these difficult and sorrowful times. May he RIP.

Huge loss to so many!   I worked as a Secretary for Art & I can honestly say he was the best & a real asset to AC.     Art always had an open door to help everyone thru life’s situations…work related or otherwise.   He had such a compassionate caring way & a fabulous sense of humour.   R.I.P.
