Alexander Joseph Eberle

May 31, 1926 – December 16, 2016

Alex Eberle passed away peacefully at the Pasqua hospital on December 16, 2016 at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his sister, Lauretta Schaeffer, his brother, Paul (Vera) Eberle, his sister, Patricia Eberle and his sister-in-law, Rose Eberle. His memory will also be cherished by his nephews and nieces, Douglas (Jeanne) Schaeffer, Jeanette (Leonard) Schaeffer, Dianne (John) Dornstauder, Tom (Carmela) Schaeffer, Michelle Eberle ( Curtis Drul), Nanette (Jordon) Best, Morene Eberle and Marc(Jodi) Eberle and many great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Katherine Eberle, his brother Daniel Eberle, his brother-in-law Nick Schaeffer and his grand niece, Chesney Eberle.

Alex was born on the family farm near Davin, Sask. Alex was proud of his success and achievement when he farmed in the Davin area. When Alex moved to Regina he became a member of the Monsignor Janssen Council of the Knights of Columbus as well as becoming a member of the Father Hugonard Assembly of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus.

For the past nine years, Alex has been residing at Victoria Park Community Care . The family wishes to thank the staff for the care given to Alex. He enjoyed the many activities that were provided for the residents. The Communion Service provided by the Holy Cross Pastoral Team was greatly appreciated by Alex. The family also wishes to thank Drs. Taylor, Lucas and McLeod, the nurses and other health care providers at the Pasqua Hospital for the care provided during the past three weeks.

The funeral mass will be held at Little Flower Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, Sk on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:30am with Father Jose Periyilkatte as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 1874 Scarth St. Regina, Sk. S4P 4B3
