Adam Grandel

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Adam Grandel, who passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025 at the age of 87 surrounded by his loving family. A loving husband to Loaine for 59 years and cherished father to David (Jackie), Leslie (Brad), Jonathan, and Matthew (Kendra). He will be dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren, and great granddaughter.

Adam was survived by four siblings, Lucy Krobath, Margaret Gibson, Erni Grandel & Henry Grandel and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Wenzel and Theresa Grandel, siblings Wenzel, John, Rose, Emelia, Martha, Agnes, Clement, Mary, Madeline, Douglas and Frances.

Adam was born in April 1937 on a farm near Dysart where he farmed for his parents from an early age. He worked as an orderly at the Regina General Hospital until 1970 when he established a successful roofing company, Expert Roofing Co Ltd.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home on April 11, 2025, at 11:00am.
