Mary Antoinette "Toni" Shamoon Brletic passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Toni was born in Reedley, California on August 9, 1941 to Edward George Shamoon of Zahle, Lebanon and Marie Ursulle Hebert of Rogersville, New Brunswick Canada. She was brought home to a small farm and grew up in a loving family with many neighboring relatives and friends. She attended Wahtoke School and graduated from Reedley High School in 1959. Toni had an interest in art. One of her drawings, a commemoration of the new statehoods of Alaska and Hawaii, was selected for the Reedley High Class of 1959 plaque. This plaque has been placed in front of the performing arts building at Reedley High. Toni met the love of her life, Mathew "Bo" Brletic, while attending Reedley College. They were married on New Years Eve in 1961. Toni was a loving mother to her three children. She was very creative and loved to sew. She also was a great cook – her Lebanese food was some of the best. Later, she worked as a real estate agent in Reedley. Toni loved to read and travel. She took numerous trips with her family to Boston, Pittsburgh and Canada. Toni was a wonderful and loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren. Toni was preceded in death by her husband Mathew Brletic; parents Ed and Margaret Shamoon; brothers John and Feris Shamoon. She is survived by her children Mathew (Christina) Brletic , Suzanne (Tim) Banach and David (Jean) Brletic; grandchildren Dominique, Mathew, and Anthony Brletic; India, Sam and Hannah Brletic; Hope, Faith and Elle Banach; Nieces Melanie Shamoon, Jackie Walters, Aimee Shamoon; Nephew Michael Wiegand; Great nephews Andrew, Ahmad; Great niece Jameel.
