James Lowell Reed

James L. Reed, age 77, passed away on January 24, 2023 at Overlake Hospital. He was the husband of Judy E. Reed. They shared over 50 years of marriage together. He was born at Scottsfield Air Force Base in St. Clair County, IL. He was the son of Amos E. Reed and Dorothy D. Reed. He graduated from Willamette University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was retired. He was a member of Highland Covenant Church in Bellevue, Washington. He was an avid reader and gamer. He will be remembered for being quirky, upbeat, sarcastic and loving.

He is survived by his wife, Judy E. Reed, daughters; Nicole Starr (Daniel), Angela Reed (Kenny White), Shannon Hanaberg (Hans). He was predeceased by his two parents and three siblings; David Reed, John Reed and Janice Reed.

His memorial service will be held February 2, 2023 at 2pm at Highland Covenant Church, Bellevue, WA following his private interment at Cedar Lawns Memorial Park.
