One happy day, 31 years ago, Dixie Breland married David Nutter. When she married him, she married his family too. They each had two grown children at the time which turned into spouses, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. She told everyone who would listen about every member of the family and what they were doing. Complete strangers would know everything as she was so proud. There is not a person on this earth that did not know how much she loved each and every one of them.
A strong Woman of faith…be assured if you were in her family, one of her friends, the person in front of her at the grocery store, or even someone she had never met, she prayed for you.
Dixie loved bright colors and everything that glitters, sparkles, or Pixie Dust. Dixie loved to shop and buy gifts for everyone she loved, and actually had QVC on speed dial. Decorating for holidays was never ending, especially Christmas. It was not uncommon to find a Christmas tree in every room with the leftover forest still in boxes in the garage.
Either Vet shows or medical shows were always on as she found them very interesting. Dixie wanted to be a nurse, and even registered and took one class but she felt that it took too much time away from her family and never went back.
It has been said that a Woman who left a trail of glitter behind her will never be forgotten…forget the trail, Dixie left mountains of glitter everywhere she went.
