Beloved wife of the late Jack Kutrukis. Proud mother of Jeff (Aleta) Kutrukis, Debby Ervans and Andy Pietrobono , Sheri Kutrukis and Tim (Kelli) Kutrukis. Loving grandmother of Chris (Karyn) Ervans, Tim Ervans, Dan (Kimmie) Ervans, Hailey Kutrukis and Lexi Kutrukis. Dear great grandmother of Logan, Kathryn, Jaxon, Andrew, Megan, Lukas and Baylin. Dearest sister of the late Edwin and Eugenia.
Sylvia was born in Wayne, Michigan to her late parents Francis and Catherine Gorka. She was a proud mother of her children and enjoyed watching them grow up into the kind, caring and successful adults they are today. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren and great grandchildren that she would spend much of her free time with. Her happy place was the casino; whether it was time spent with family or friends, she enjoyed going and playing her favorite slot machines. Sylvia will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Sylvia's family will receive friends on Sunday January 19th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm scripture service at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Redford.
Continued visitation on Monday January 20th at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am, led by Monsignor Richard Osebold, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Redford with a luncheon to follow.
Sylvia's final resting place will be at St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
