Stacia Phyllis Kent, age 92, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family.
Stacia was the beloved wife and lifelong partner of the late Edward Z. Kent, with whom she shared a bond that stood the test of time. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children: Edward (Cindy) Kent, Debra (Michael) Volas, Steven (Kathy) Kent, and Sandra (Alan) Bloom. Her family was her pride and joy, and she nurtured them with endless love, wisdom, and care. She was the heart of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that lives on in her cherished grandchildren: Andrea (Justin) Lacey, Kayla (Gage) Liberati, Darlene (Subrata) Volas, David Volas, Jennifer (Travis) Whittaker, Steven (Sara) Bloom, and Ryan (Kayla) Bloom. Her role as a great-grandmother brought her immense joy, and she adored Amelia Lacey, Charlie Bloom, Hayley Bloom, Tristan Whittaker, Lena Whittaker, London Whittaker, and Tavin Whittaker with all her heart.
Stacia had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel special and loved. She found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was gathering around the table for a game of cards, curling up with a good book, or creating beautiful pieces through knitting, crocheting, and crafts. The casino was one of her favorite places to visit, where she could embrace the thrill and fun with her signature smile and sense of adventure.
Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. Stacia’s family and friends will forever hold dear the countless memories of her love and laughter. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were lucky enough to know her.
