We would hang out at Chucks Shell Staion in Montgomery Creek. You always had a project, (like the go kart with the triumph engine).Your smile said so much. You were a mentor and positive influence in my life.

I met Dean about 18 months ago after leaving a business card after hours at he and Rena's powersports store.  He called me a few days later and we struck
a deal to do business together.  He was instrumental in opening up the CA. I-5 corridor for me.  He was honest, and forthright with me, and exhibited great integrity, three traits hard to find in business  these days.  He was a great friend.  I am very saddened  at his passing.  My sincere condolences to Rena and the family.

Rena and all of Dean's family,
I have fond memories of going to California to see my cousins and them coming to Kansas.  May you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I have known the Lee family pretty much my entire life. Russell and I have seen some interesting things together over the course of our friendship. Dean was always there with his trademark smile and good story. He is in a better place now. It was a genuine pleasure Dean!

It was very sad news to learn of Dean's passing. It was a pleasure to know him over the course of many years. My sincerest condolences to all of his family.

I met Dean in the spring of 1968 and have had a lasting friendship since. I was Danny Thompkins' buddy and we spent many hours working in the shop and riding with Dean. Motocross was new to the USA, mud runs, flat track, T-T courses...you name it. We did it all. 
My brother, Randy, raced for Dean as well. The 60's and early 70's were magical years for Lee's Kawasaki and his "Green Streak Boys".
We moved to Texas, but always kept up with Dean. Fortuantely, Randy got to talk with him just two weeks ago while here visiting with me. Dean would bust out in that big smile and we would talk for over an hour. He was a life-long friend and will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace dear friend.
Our deepest condolences to the Lee family. Dean was indeed an icon in this town.

A Message of Sympathy and Hope


   When somebody passes away, a cloud turns into an angel and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.  A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry...

   People disappear, but they never really go away.  The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles.  Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the daytime when they are supposed to be sleeping.

   They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide.  They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes.  And when they sing wind songs, they whisper to us, â€œDon't miss me too much.  The view is nice, and I'm doing just fine

When Dean meets his father on the other side, He will be able to say I tried very hard to always honor our name, I enjoyed Dean's friendship for nearly 50 years and have many choice memories, of his father Monte, also, Mack Grossen

I will really miss Dean.  I so enjoyed the time I had to visit with him.  He was such a good person and a really sharp businessman.  One of the nicest and smartest people I've been fortunate to know.  My prayers and thoughts go out to Rena and the rest of Dean's family.

I started working for Dean in 1968 while still in high school. We raced together, trail rode together,enjoyed life together.We argued together, we learned together. We accomplished a lot together. I lesrned s lot about life and buisness from him. There is not enough room here to express how much Dean meant to me. I never missed a chance to visit with Dean when I came to town. He will be missed. Thank You Dean for so much.

   I worked for Dean and the Lee family for 10 years, and Dean was a major positive influence on my growth as a man, husband, father and person.  Dean was a sweet and caring person who did many wonderful things for me and others in secret.  Never looking for worldly glory or public accolades.  I will miss him.  May his memory be Eternal.

We moved to Redding in 87, shortly after met Dean told him about my dad owning the Kawasaki dealership in Twin Falls. We bought the 1st Polaris watercraft from him, jr bought his first MC Honda cbr600 and after I sold my business worked for him about 6 months in 2000..Thanks for the opportunity and MEMORIES DEAN..May God bless you as yo enter this chapter and may he bless and comfort the family..To the Family, Connie and I send our Love, Prayers.

Dean and family usually sat in front of us in church on Sunday mornings.  Bob and Dean would greet each other on the way out.  It was one of those things that was a constant, a simple act of friendship.  Sadly life changes and those times are missed but treasured.--Bob & Ada Towers
