In the early morning hours before dawn on July 25, 2021, Patti passed into Eternity. After a very long illness, she is at last at peace and pain free. Although born in Southern California, Patti spent her entire life in Redding where she attended elementary schools and graduated in 1963 from Shasta High School. Shortly after graduation, she began working for Pacific Bell, eventually retiring after 30 years of service. With her compassion for others and her sense of humor, she made many life-long friends who to this day helped support her during her recent illnesses. Patti is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Ward Leslie of Camarillo, CA., and her brother Gary Stucki of Redding. She also leaves behind her nephews William (Kelly) Leslie of Fairview, TX, and their children Monica of Chester, England; Alexander of CT; Katrina of TX; and Christopher (Tony Reese) Leslie of Irvine, CA. Her maternal aunt Joanne Pryor and cousin Tobi Swanson also survive her. Graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Redding Memorial Park where Patti will rest beside her mother, Jackie Rodgers. Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. It would have pleased Patti to know that donations were made in her memory to your favorite charity or that you offered a smile, a hug or a kind word to someone who needs it. She was a generous, fun-loving woman who was loved and will be missed by all.
