Patricia Diane Smith

Pat attended George Washington HS and went on to San Francisco St where she graduated with her BA.

Post college graduation brought Pat out of the big city to the small town of McArthur, Ca. She did her student teaching and went on to accept a position as a kindergarten teacher at Fall River Elementary School.

On August 6, 1984, Pat married Bill Smith and soon after officially adopted his daughter Dani as her own.

Over the years, she touched many lives. She loved each of the students she taught as if they were her own.

Pat and Bill built a beautiful life together- a life centered around their mutual faith and love for Jesus Christ.

After 35 years, Pat retired from teaching and focused her time on volunteering for Intermountain Hospice, Grace Bible Church, and Intermountain Artists.

She saw beauty everywhere and enjoyed painting and photographing what she saw. She loved to crochet in her down time and donated the hats she made to St. Judes Hospital.

Pat and Bill spent time traveling to see Dani and their grandchildren at every opportunity. Her grandchildren brought a sparkle to her eye that no one else could.

She is survived by Bill (husband), daughter Dani (Bugs), grandchildren Tylor (Alexandra), Maysn, Eric, Emily, Joe, John Hart (brother), John Finley (Brother-in-law), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be on February 13th @11:00AM at Pine Grove Cemetery in McArthur, CA.

A Celebration of Life will follow immediately at Grace Bible Church in Big Valley, CA.
