Born in Redding, November 18, 1920, to Alfred and Eliza Hart of Cornwall England, she passed peacefully at home on September 24, 2018 with friends and family present.
Ruth is preceded by her mother and father, her brothers Joe and Art Hart, grandson Tyler Johnson and her husband Forrest.
She was the mother of Jim and Joe, grandmother of 8, and great-grandmother of 18.
In addition, she was a member of the Organization of the Eastern Star, a telephone pioneer and a member of the Shasta Historical Society
