Leslie J. Winters, 61, was born to Jess and Doris Winters in California on September 4, 1949. He attended college and then went to work as a diesel mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for 33 years. On October 9, 2010 Leslie passed away in Redding, California.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Deborah Wilcox-Winters, they have been together for 16 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Taney Gene Winters (age 32) and her partner, Ruben Hendrix; sons, Wesley John Robert Winters (age 15) and Logan Lynn Winters (age 13); grandson, Cameron Hendrix; brother, Robert Winters; sisters, Shirley Meyers, Bonnie Winters and many friends.
Leslie is preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Winters and his sister, Linda Cafourek.
A service will be held at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo, California on October 29th at 11:30am. Arrangements are in the care of Lawncrest Chapel in Redding, California (530-222-1587).
