It was with great sadness that I heard that Kyle's battle with cancer had come to an end.  Kyle and I played football together in high school.  Football was very important to me in my youth and Kyle is a most treasured part of my on and off the field memories. Due to time, distance and career choices our paths diverged after graduation. Fortunately we were able to rekindle our friendship in these latter years. I was able to visit with Kyle in September, 2020 when he and Janet were in Florida. It was good to see him as his old self. As always, he was the nonconformist but that was part of the reason why he was so loved by family and friends. He underwent his final competition with the grace and perseverance I recall from his youth. Kyle's steadfastness and optimism through this long ordeal provides me much hope and confidence in the eternal life we are yet to share in Christ.  

Kyle, you will be greatly missed.
