Glenn E. David, age 68, of Redding, passed away on May 7, 2016 at Shasta Regional Medical Center. He was born April 14, 1948 in Los Angeles, California, and was the oldest of three children.
He entered the Navy in 1968 and was stationed in the Pacific during the Vietnam Conflict. Glenn worked for 35 years as a financial planner and life and health insurance broker and was well known for focusing on client service. He will be remembered as a lifelong lover of people. He especially liked sharing his favorite music and jokes with everyone. He was at his happiest when helping others and donated considerable time to the local Moose.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sherry Clifton-David, son Eric David, mother Doris David, brother Dennis David, and sister Colleen Anicete.
Funeral services will be held on May 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the McDonald's Chapel, 1275 Continental Street, Redding, CA. A reception will be held there following the services.
