Esther Confidence Conway

Esther C. Conway passed away on Friday, August 15th, 2014 at her home. She was born on July 22, 1960 in Redding, CA. Esther devoted her life to public service. she worked as a 911 Public Safety Dispatcher/Supervisor for about 27 years including Redding Police and Fire, Shascom, and CSU Chico Police Dept.After she retired from public service, she continued to volunteer her time for the Salvation Army and the Program. Esther participated in and for the Cal PERS Organization. She also became an ordained non-denominational minister and performed weddings and funerals.

Esther had a kind heart and never met a stranger. Esther was very social and enjoyed helping people. She had a deep faith in Jesus and was very involved in her church. Esther was always very thoughtful in sending a card or making a phone call to encourage or celebrate a milestone. She loved to collect jewelry, shoes and clothes. Esther loved her family and friends. We loved her too and she will be greatly missed.

Esther is survived by her brother Dave Conway and her sisters, Ruth Conway and Mary Miller, as well as her nephews Sam Miller, Will Miller and Niece Hannah Miller .... and Princess.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 24th, 2014 at 2:00PM at McDonald's Chapel / Redding Cemetery in Redding, CA. Graveside service with Potluck / fellowship following. Bring your favorite dish to share and to celebrate Esther's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Chico.
