Donna M. Wright

Donna was actively involved with Blue Birds, Cub Scouts, Junction School PTA and was a 4H leader for over 20 years. She operated "Donna's Yarn Shop", teaching many people the love of knitting. she graduated nursing school in 1973 and found her true calling working with pediatric hospital patients. she also began a volunteer Candy Striper program for high school students at the local hospital. Donna enjoyed bowling, reading westerns and gold panning. Her greatest joy though was sitting in the bleachers, cheering for her children.

She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Wright, her children: Darci (Dennis) Bruggman of Chico, Brian (Kim) Wright of Redding, Shawn (Joni) Wright of Redding, Kyle (Gayle) Wright of Pocatello, Idaho, Shell (Kris) Wright of Redding, Jayci (Tony) Shaffer of Redding, Kayci (Scott) Tiner of Chico, sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
