Ronald Keith Moats

Ronnie passed away on Sunday morning, November 4th surrounded by his family; he was 62. After a long illness, he is finally at peace with our Lord.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Howard and Jean Moats and his brother Michael Moats.

Ronnie was raised in Salinas and graduated from North Salinas High. He worked for Cela Pack and then onto his life job with Granite Rock for 28 years before his health forced him to retire. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, spending time involved with 4-H, along with coaching his sons (Keith and Kevin) in baseball. He always enjoyed working with kids and giving anyone a helping hand. When he had a chance he always went dancing with his wife Sharon, because Ronnie loved to dance.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Moats of Red Bluff, his sons Keith (Traci) Moats of Sparks, Nevada, and Kevin Moats of Bakersfield, CA. He is also survived by his brother Bill Moats, granddaughters Samantha and Gabbi of Sparks, Nevada, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family extends thankfulness to Hospice, Margaret Harris and Nicole Mishoe for their help and support.
