Pat (as she was known by everyone) was born on May 24th 1940 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Garfield & Esther Trana. Pat’s family moved to Everett Washington. Where she went to school and grew up. She married William (Bill) Gonzales June of 1958 at the age of 18 they were married for almost 60 years when he passed away in 2018. Bill was the onery sort and Pat was the very special and patient women that made the household go and supported Bill through all of his adventures. Pat worked at various jobs. She waitressed, worked for the post office and was a motel manager for 20+years, she retired and her and Bill traveled until Bill’s health slowed them down.
Pat loved baking, especially around Christmas season-so much so that she had Bill make her a cookie room at one point just to store all her handmade goodies. She loved making her famous Cherry Winks, Raspberry Freezer Jam and Divinity. She was an exceptional cook and could make almost anything. She loved to give “not your birthday presents” she always taught it was better to give than to receive. Late in life She moved to town, where she spent time with her daughters Cindy and Debbie.
