NANCY JOSINE ROMER November 5, 1946 - February 28, 2013
Nancy Josine Romer, 66, died on February 28, 2013, with her devoted husband by her side in Red Bluff, CA. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at Sacred Heart Church at 10:30 am in Red Bluff. She was born November 5, 1946 in Lexington, Nebraska to Norman and Frances Sheaff. She moved to California where she attended the University of California, San Francisco and Shasta College earning a degree in English. She met and married Donald Romer on November 15, 1969, in Corning. Her and her husband moved to Red Bluff where she worked for Louisiana Pacific for 16 years and Sierra Pacific for 3 years. Her interests included family, gardening, mountain hiking and camping. She was also a devoted member at Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Romer is survived by her brother, James Sheaff; her sister, Monica Cordrey; her sons; Kenneth and Monty Romer; her daughter; Donna Romer; and her 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jaynie Sheaff.
