Irene May Hoffman

Irene May (Bloxham) Hoffman passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born and raised in Red Bluff, graduating from Red Bluff High School in 1951. She married the love of her life Robert Hoffman, in 1952 and celebrated 50+ years of marriage before his passing in 2003. They had 3 sons and one daughter, and lived in Red Bluff, Chico, and spent many years in Paso Robles before returning to Red Bluff. Irene and Bob spent weeks camping with the adult children, grandchildren and close friends all over Central and Northern California. Irene loved to travel with her beloved sister, Gail. Their favorite destination was Brookings, Oregon. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in Sacramento and Paso Robles. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, and 1 sibling, Bill, and is survived by 5 of her siblings; Sue, Ardelle, Donella, Gail and Mark, her 4 children Bob (Donna), Shari (Ken), Bill, and Kevin (Lisa) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private family ceremony followed by a public celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023. Irene loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was one of a kind and sorely missed
