Gary Douglas Morrison

Gary Douglas Morrison, beloved husband, father, and son, passed away on August 26, 2015 at the age of 57. Gary was born on September 23, 1957 in Denver, Colorado to Jack and Wilma Morrison and older brothers Jack Morrison Jr. and Mike Morrison. The family moved to Redding, California in 1959 where Gary attended elementary school and graduated in 1975 from Enterprise High School. Gary moved to Red Bluff in 1985 where he worked with his brother Jack at Red Bluff Auto Electric as a parts guy for many years. He had also worked for Corning Ford, Red Bluff Ford and lastly Napa Auto Parts.

Gary’s passion in life was racing, whether it was watching it on TV or being in the pits at the local racetracks. Helping out family and friends was always something he loved to do. He was an avid lover of sports and cheered on his beloved S.F. Giants and 49ers.

Gary was survived by his wife of 21 years, Lisa Morrison and his son Bryan Morrison. He was further survived by his mother Wilma Morrison, brother Jack Morrison, brother Mike Morrison, nephews Michael Morrison Jr., and Matthew Morrison, and niece Michelle Morrison.
