Jack was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn, and his son, Nick. He is survived by his three
children, Frank Wylie (Debbie), David Wylie (Kathy), and Maryanne Montandon (Steve), and
numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jack left his home in Junction City, OR to enlist in the Navy. On his way home to Oregon, he
met his wife Marilyn and stayed in California. He was employed by PG&E and worked at Kilarc
Reservoir, Whitmore and Manton Hydro and retired after 42 years of service.
Jack was a generous man who would do anything for anyone. He loved making others smile,
and his motto was “build a home beside the road and be a friend to man”. A viewing will be held
at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers on February 27th from 9am-1pm with a service to follow at
the Elks Lodge at 2pm.
