Walter G. "Lefty" Evans, 83, of Reading passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife Betty Jane (Youse) Evans on September 15, 2011. Lefty was born in Reading on February 22, 1939 a son of the late Elwood and Helen (Katzaman) Evans.
He was a 1958 Wilson High School graduate and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Lefty was employed as a truck driver for most of his life.
Surviving is his sister, Kathleen Lewis, step-son Michael R. Fair and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Irvin Evans.
