Susan Marie Sanner, 69, of West Lawn, PA entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her residence. Born in Reading, PA on January 11, 1956, she was a daughter to Ann Marie (Hassler) Bossler and the late Russell Leo Bossler.
For over 23 years, Susan worked as an LPN, bringing her compassionate care to Berks Visiting Nurses Association, Phoebe, Manor Care, Mifflin Court, and lastly, Reading Hospital. She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Advent Lutheran in West Lawn.
A creative soul with a love for all things handmade, Susan could often be found with yarn, thread, or pencil in hand. Knitting, crocheting, quilting, sketching—if it involved crafting, she probably mastered it. When not creating, she could be found refinishing furniture, getting dirt under her nails in the garden, watching TV, or zipping around in her car just for the joy of the drive. Susan was also known to embrace her adventurous side—whether it was hiking, camping, road trips, or even white-water rafting.
Susan’s greatest love, however, was her family. She cherished her children, Jennifer Ceja (Gabriel Bogart) and Michael Sanner (Trisha), and adored her 3 grandchildren—Jayden Ceja, Remmington Sanner, and Iris Sanner. Her spirit will also be carried on by her mother Ann Marie, her sister Beth Bossler, and let’s not forget Emma, her fur baby, who will certainly miss her snuggles.
Susan was unapologetically herself, sarcastic in the best way, quirky in all the ways that made her unforgettable, and always ready to have a good laugh.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Susan. May your creative spirit keep cruising the open road — wherever the next great adventure takes you.
