Sheila Ann Hughes, formally of Hanover, PA., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025 in Reading, PA. She was the widow of Carroll E. Hughes of Hanover, PA. Sheila was co-owner of Manny Excavating, a loving caregiver and constant letter writer. She will leave a trail of cherished memories for family and friends.
Born in Hanover, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Caler.
She is survived by her son, David E (Annette) Hughes, three grandsons, David A. (Martha) Hughes, Dexter Hughes, and Jason (Kristine) Peifer, along with 2 great grandsons.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol A. Peifer and brother, Michael Caler.
