Ruth was born in Reading on August 19, 1933 a daughter of the late Dominic and Caroline (Rossi) Archer.
She was a faithful person who loved the Lord. Ruth enjoyed her shopping trips and playing MahJongg and card games. Ruth valued spending time with her grandchildren and was a very family oriented woman. She was employed by Astor Swimsuits as a seamstress, later Teleflex as an inspector and lastly working at Reading Hospital in the mailroom.
Surviving are her 3 children; Kathy L. and her husband Joseph Hollenbaugh, Steve and his wife Wendy Pauley and Kirt Pauley, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
Ruth was predeceased by her 5 brothers and 5 sisters and her great grandson, Cameron T. Boyer.
Services for Ruth will be Friday September 29, 2023 at 12 noon in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday 11-12 noon in the funeral home.
