Regina Catherine O'Neill

Regina Catherine (Peters) O'Neill, 85, of Ephrata, formerly of Reading, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 with her loving husband by her side at Keystone Villa-Ephrata. The couple had been married 48 years on July 23rd this year. Born in Reading on June 21, 1929, Regina was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kaczor) Peters.

She graduated from Shillington High School and went on to become a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Nursing School. Regina worked in Pediatrics at Community General, Geriatrics at Berks Heim and then on to a private practice where she retired. Regina enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward F. O'Neill of Ephrata; a son, Gary Radai of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Cory Radai of New York and Adam Radai of Douglassville. Also surviving is Regina's sister, Leona (Peters) Szpak and her companion, Dr. Frank Franco of Wyomissing. In addition to her parents; sadly, Regina was preceded in death on the very same day she passed by her much loved daughter-in-law, Patricia Radai.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 in St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading is entrusted with the arrangements.
