Nancy L. Wentzel

Nancy L. Wentzel, 83, formerly of Reading, of Ocean View, DE, passed away at Beebe Health Care. Nancy was predeceased by her first husband, Paul H. Ruth, in November 1961 and her second husband, Earl P. Wentzel Jr., in February 2008. She was born in Reading on November 27, 1930 a daughter of the late Earl and Miriam (Ritz) Leisey.

She was a Wilson High School Graduate and was employed by Reading School District in food service department for 20 years, retiring in 1992.

Nancy is survived by her children: Diana Lynn Moyer and Susan E. Ruth, both of Ocean View, DE; Bruce Marlon Ruth of Greencastle, PA; 2 grandchildren, Michael Moyer of Sinking Spring, and Damian Ruth of Arlington, VA.; 1 great-grandson, Austin Moyer; 5 stepchildren: Thomas Wentzel of Womelsdorf; Jeffrey Wentzel of Temple; Lisa, wife of Gary Dreibelbis of Muhlenberg; Cheryl, wife of Gary Bachman of Reading; and Sylvia, wife of Michael Gerhart of Reading. Nancy was also predeceased by her brother, Frederick Leisey.

Services will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. www.aumansinc.com
