Miguel Sulivera, 43, of Laureldale, PA entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Reading, PA on September 14, 1981, he was a cherished son to Maria I. (Sulivera) Vazquez and Carmelo Ortiz Vazquez.
Miguel was a graduate of Reading High School and held various jobs throughout his life, with his most recent position being a material handler at Price Rite Markets.
Outside of work, he found joy in the company of friends and family, turning any gathering into a memorable event. He especially cherished days at the river, where they often held picnics filled with fishing and swimming. Miguel had an unmatched appreciation for life’s simple joys—whether he was chowing down a bowl of white rice, sipping on some Icy Tea, or cracking jokes left and right. A die-hard WWE fan, Miguel considered “The Undertaker” his all-time favorite. His amazing sense of humor and laid-back vibe had a way of winning people over; he could light up a room faster than you could yell, “Wooo!” (Nature Boy” Ric Flair)
True to his life motto, “DTA” (Don’t Trust Anybody), Miguel kept things real, balancing a playful spirit with just the right amount of skepticism—because let’s face it, trusting people was overrated. He had a knack for keeping things light and fun, while also giving you that "I know what you're up to" look, just in case you thought you could pull a fast one.
Miguel will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his deep love for family and friends, and his ability to turn any moment into a laugh-out-loud memory. May he rest in eternal peace—and may heaven be ready for the nonstop comedy show he’s bringing.
In addition to his mother Maria and father Carmelo, Miguel's spirit will be carried on by his daughter China Sulivera; his 6 siblings David C. Vazquez, Hector Vazquez and his wife Stephanie Roman, Wilson Melendez, Rafael Melendez, Luisa Rodriguez and Maria Melendez. He also leaves behind his longtime girlfriend Carol Folk, his aunt Carmen Ortiz and his niece Veronica Forester to cherish his memory.
A viewing for Miguel will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Join us to share memories, laughter, and celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
