Margo Lane Weaver,59, of Reading, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Reading Hospital. Born June 23, 1961 in Reading, she was the beloved daughter to Saul and Dorothy (Weaver) Hodge.
For many years, Margo worked as a CNA at Berks Heim Nursing Home, Leesport. She was a faithful member of First Century Worship Center, Reading; where she was involved with Women's fellowship ministries.
Margo was a strong, caring, determined and fiercely independent woman. Her altruistic nature and quiet demeanor were a testament to the life she led. She was patient, kind and always welcomed others with the warmest of smiles. Margo appreciated the simpler things in life like listening to music and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Margo's spirit will be carried on by her mother Dorothy (Weaver) Hodge and father Saul Hodge, of Texas; daughter Keturah Raquet, of Exeter Township; son Chaz Brown, of Reading; 5 brothers Tyrone Weaver and his wife Tanya, of Mt. Penn, Miguel Weaver and his wife Austrid, of Reading, Steve Hodge and his wife Shirleen, of Connecticut, Stanley Hodge and his wife Mia, of Connecticut, Rodney Hodge, of Connecticut, and sister Dorian Grant and her husband Whis, of Texas. Margo also leaves behind a spiritual sister Linda Alston; 3 grandchildren Jayden, Serenity and Taylor and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish her memory.
Margo was greeted in heaven by her grandfather James Weaver, grandmother Lela Weaver, biological father Thomas Kenney and granddaughter Chailynn Brown.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, Reiffton. A viewing for Margo will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John Missionary Baptist, 436 S. 7th St. Reading, PA 19602. Home going service will commence at 11:00 AM, in the church. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Laureldale, PA 19605.
