Margaret Ann Boyer

Peggy was born at home in South Temple, PA., on June 6, 1932 the daughter of the late Harry T. and Irene P. (Beaver) Sands. Peggy graduated from Muhlenberg High school in 1950 and served on several class reunion committees.

She was an entrepreneur and business woman all her life and she and her husband operated several businesses in the area. Peggy enjoyed PA Dutch culture and old country music, which included Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette and George Jones. She had an extensive collection of Cranberry Glass and antique cars. Peggy enjoyed her life along the Schuylkill River. She was an avid pet lover, especially her Shih Tzus; Floppy and Millie.

In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by her 2 daughters; Robin L. Boyer and fiance', Martin Algar and Susan E. and her husband, James Oswald, 6 grandchildren; Robert Danner, Russ Danner, Rebecca Reese, Rachael Baker, Meryn Schneiderhan, Jimmy Oswald, 9 great grandchildren and her special nephew, Thomas T. Sands.

Peggy was preceded in passing by her beloved brother, Thomas Sands in 2006 who was like a father.

A Family & Friends gathering for Margaret will be Thursday, April 11, 2024 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Auman's Inc, 390 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

Margaret will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
