Lisa Elaine (Farley) Fuller, 58, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, April 28th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman B. (Basil) Fuller, Jr., on January 6th, 2013.
Lisa was born in Reading on September 14, 1964, a daughter of the late, Eugene Sr., and Beatrice (Broussard) Farley. Lisa was a graduate of Reading Area Community College and was employed by Berks Counseling Center as a case manager for 17 years. She was an advocate in the social service field. Serving many families, friends and others in her community. Lisa was also a former assistant financial secretary at the #108 Mary Alice Temple. She was also a member of St. James Chapel Church of God in Christ.
Lisa was a woman of many hustles. Some of those hustles included selling scrap metal and managing a car dealership. She also took her father's place as an avid gambler and shared his love for the casino. She was a loving bully and spoke like a sailor.
Surviving are her 2 daughters; Adrienne Taggart and Theresa Figueroa, 2 grandchildren; Jason and Addison Taylor. Her siblings; Eugene D. Farley, Jr., Theodore E. and his wife Tammy Farley, Chauncey Martin, Cynthia E. Broussard, Teresa Dixon Hood, LeTisha Mann Brooks and her husband Kendell Brooks, Aunts Ethel M. Jennerette, Linda Washington, Nina Brown, Rita Richardson Brockington, Sharon Richardson Williams and Joan Richardson. Uncles, Dallas Washington, Gary, David, Keith and Kevin Scott, and Brian Richardson. Her Godson Jay Simons. Her faithful companion her dog, Lady, best friend Carol Brown, special friend Pat Kama, special cousins Hortense and Chad Scott, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and close family friends.
Lisa was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Isabella Parker and Frank Broussard. Paternal grandparents Marie Washington and Chalmers Brown and sister, Tracy Hood.
Usually, Lisa would be the one to write the obituary and programs, and now it's sad that we are writing hers. We will miss you, Lisa!
A heartfelt thank you to our extended families, the Richardson's and the Scott's. The family would also like to thank everyone for all of their prayers, support, comfort and contributions. Lisa will be greatly missed by everyone.
A Viewing for Lisa will be held Saturday, May 6th, 2023, from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at Theo C Auman, 247 Penn St, Reading, PA 19601, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM.
