Leon Martin Godziejewski Sr.

Leon Martin Godziejewski Sr., 88, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret "Peggy" Ann (Wisner) Godziejewski on May 10, 2016.

Leon was born in Reading on February 20, 1935 a son of the late Stanley and Julia (Dombrowski) Godziejewski. He was a former member of St. Mary's/St. Margaret's parish and was employed by OB Dyers as a supervisor for 39 years and later working part-time at Fairgrounds Farmer's Market as a supervisor for 10 years retiring there in 2010. Leon was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed going to the casinos.

Surviving are his 3 sons; Thomas M. Godziejewski, Leon M. Godziejewski, Jr., and Robert Godziejewski, stepson, Ricky L. Wisner, and 3 grandchildren; Kalyn Godziejewski, Nathanyel Godziejewski and Alexandra L. Godziejewski.

Leon was predeceased by his siblings; Joseph Godziejewski, Mary Deeds, Chester Godziejewski and Francis Zalegowski.

Services and burial will be private at the families convenience.
