Kimberly "Kimmi" Lynne Bainbridge, 51, of Reading, flew with the angels back home to Jesus on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was the happy child of Wanda Bainbridge and the late William "Gus" Giddens. Step daughter of "Pops" Stevie Cook.
Born on June 9, 1965 in Reading, Kimmi loved the Lord. She traveled to all the churches she could to hear His word preached! She had a sweet nature to her and was always smiling. "Are you my friend?"
Kimmi loved to spend quality time with her family; it was one of Kimmi's most precious joys. Kimmi loved to be around children, enjoyed doing word searches and loved going bowling. She loved to be around her late brother, Sweet. He always made her laugh.
In addition to Wanda and Pops; Kimmi leaves behind to cherish her memory, four brothers: Leonard L. "Lenny" Bainbridge and his wife, Betty Ann (Farley) Bainbridge, Kareem D. Bainbridge, Christopher Giddens and Tracey McClary whom was raised as a brother; her sister-in-law, Erika S. (Berringer) Bainbridge, wife of the late Richard D. "Sweet" Bainbridge; three sisters: Schaleen Bainbridge and her companion, Gerald Smith, Kelly Giddens and Porsha Carlisle "You're my sister, right?".
Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Home Going services for Kimmi will be at 11am on Monday, March 13, 2017 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11am. Kimmie will be laid to rest beside her brother, Sweet in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood.
