James "Jim" Henry Willard, 64, of Fleetwood, PA passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at his residence. Born August 27, 1957 in Reading, PA he was a son to the late Henry James Willard and Nelda (Koch) Willard.
For over 10 years, Jim worked in machine maintenance at East Penn Manufacturing (Deka), Lyons.
Jim was an energetic, family man who loved fishing and camping. He was always ready to build a campfire; a skill he was very proud of. However above all else, he absolutely treasured spending time with his grandchildren and had a great love for his family.
Jim's witty sense humor and good hearted joking abilities were known by many. He was extremely generous and always willing to help others. Jim will be sorely missed by all blessed enough to have known him.
Jim's spirit will be carried on by his beloved wife of 31 years, Helen (Jones) Willard; his 2 daughters Amy Willard (Patrick Otto), Jodi Schaeffer (Michael); and his 4 grandchildren Aubriella Otto, Emilee Otto, Liam Schaeffer and Keegan Schaeffer. He also leaves behind 3 sisters Linda Wails, Nancy Wails, Peggy Harmon; and 2 step sisters Susan Quinter and Rose Zimmerman to cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his 4 brothers Henry James Willard, John Dundore, Jerry Dundore and Terry Dundore.
Family and friend will gather to celebrate Jim's life on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. A celebration of life service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 12:00 PM, with Celebrant Sheryl Manzella officiating.
