Jacqueline Ann Salem, 59, of Reading, PA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at her residence. Born in Reading,PA on November 27, 1963, she was a daughter to the late Harry H.K Hoffa and Irene M. (Check) Hoffa.
Jacqueline was a graduate of Reading High School and for 21 years, worked for Redner's Markets as a Frozen Food Manager.
Jacqueline will be fondly remembered for her proverbial green thumb. She could grow anything and had the innate ability to bring the most desolate looking plants back to life. She loved her plants and they loved her back. In her spare time, Jacqueline could often be found posting inspirational quotes on her Facebook page or watching movies with her adored grandson, Julian. She was a collector of Jewelry and realistic stuffed animals, a paranormal enthusiast, lover of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and anything that sparkled, and arguably the greatest Queen fan of all time!
Jacqueline's spirit will be carried on by her daughter Melissa Salem; son Justin Allen Salem and grandson Julian Nolan. She also leaves behind 4 brothers Robert Hoffa, husband of the late Sandra Hoffa, Richard Hoffa,Gregory Hoffa and his wife Annamarie and Harry Hoffa and his wife Cynthia.
A viewing for Jacqueline will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601, followed by a prayer service at 3:00 PM, with Fr. Allen Hoffa officiating.
