Iran was born in Tacoma, WA., on December 22, 1978 a son of the late Mack A. Sr. and Jessie Mae (Isaac) Garvin.
He was employed by Second Street Learning Center as a teacher's aide for 21 years, last working December 21, 2023. He was an avid Jacksonville Jaguar fan, WWE and Chicago Bull fan. Iran enjoyed movies, board games and card games. He was so proud of his daughter Josalynn and granddaughter Serenity.
Surviving are his former spouse, Marisel (Rodriguez) Garvin, daughter Josalynn M. (Garvin) and her husband Aaron D. Serrano, brother, Mack A. Jr., and his wife Valerie Garvin, granddaughter, Serenity R. Serrano, niece, Alandra D. Garvin and nephew, Xavier J, Garvin.
A Viewing for Iran will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W. Neversink Rd, Reiffton, PA 19606. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10am in the funeral home. Repass service will be at the funeral home 12:30-2:30pm. All are welcome.
The family wishes to give thanks to so many family and friends for their acts of kindness and sympathy showered over us in our great time of sorrow.
Iran will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
