Francisco Colon Sr., 54, of Reading, entered eternal rest unexpectedly on Friday, November 6, 2020. Born November 15, 1965 in Bronx, New York, he was the beloved son of Felipe Colon and the late Carmen Jade (Castro) Colon.
Francisco was a graduate of Reading High School and worked at Amity Fencing Company for over 15 years.
Francisco was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved to play baseball and shoot pool with his buddies. Francisco swore he was the best cook ever but his children would say otherwise. Although, they did give him credit for making a really good hot sauces. Francisco was the type of father and grandfather that showed love through his great sense of humor, known for being a “jokester". You never knew what he was going to say or do, but whatever it was, it was going to be funny. However above all else, he loved his children and grandchildren, although he may not have shown it at times.
In addition to his father Felipe, Francisco's spirit will be carried on by 3 sons Francisco Colon Jr.; Cesar Lee Colon; Chase Elijah Colon 3 daughters Janessa Colon; Emilee Nicole Colon; Aja Alyssa Colon; 5 brothers Ozzy Colon, David Colon,Tino Colon, Phil Colon and Willie Colon. Francisco also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Jahziel, Jaiceon, Noriel,Kyson, Zariel Noviana and a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
In addition to his mother, Francisco was greeted in heaven by his sister Carmen Colon.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Theo C. Auman, Reading. A celebration of Francisco's life will be scheduled at a later date and at the convenience of his family.
