Her husband, Herbert J. Koller, passed away on February 2, 1988. She was born in Reading on October 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Adam and Cora (Wheeling) Fetter.
Eleanor was employed by Reading School District as a crossing guard for 13 years, retiring there. She was a soldier for The Salvation Army, where she rang the bell for 18 years and volunteered for a number of years at the Salvation Army food line.
Eleanor is survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle L. Schlegel and her fiancé, Todd M. Yoh Sr., of Reading, Barbara J. and her husband, Edward W. Donald II, of Mt Joy; her brother, Edward Fetter, of N.H.; her sister, Florence Pawling, of Reading; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Eleanor was also predeceased by her son, Kenneth R. Koller, in 2006.
Services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 12 noon in The Salvation Army, 301 S. 5th St., Reading. Burial to follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. A viewing will be 11-12 noon in The Salvation Army.
