Born in East Reading in 1931, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Arline C. (Fegley) Kantner.
A 1949 graduate of Reading High School, she worked for Dana Corporation for 30 years, attaining the position of Supervisor, accounts receivable.
In 1951, Dollie married the only man for her, George Keller. They built the life they wanted together for 50 years. Dollie and George were most often found in Delaware on the Indian River Bay where they enjoyed the tiny "paradise" they created, fishing, crabbing, clamming and partying with family and friends every summer. Dollie often said, "There's no place I'd rather be than on the boat fishing for flounder with George".
Dollie is survived by her daughter Cheryl Keller Scalzi, wife of Chuck Mertz of Limerick, her granddaughter, Georgiana Coe, wife of John Coe and great grandchildren, Alex and Ava of Exeter Township. She was predeceased by her husband, George, brother James M. Kantner and granddaughter, Stephanie Scalzi.
May she be remembered for her love of family, a good party, friends and neighbors and her dry sense of humor. Above all, the love she showered on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.TheoCAuman.com for the Keller family.
