Cynthia "Cindy" R. (Jones) Herflicker, 64, of Reading, PA passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Born December 21, 1956 in Reading, PA she was the daughter to the late Thelma L. Bertolet and Rodney A. Jones.
Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loved by many, and her kindness and warm smile will be greatly missed. She was quick to share a hug and a laugh with loved ones and friends, leaving a permanent mark on many hearts and in everyone's memories. Even when life was hard, which was often, Cindy helped others when she could and in whatever way she could. Cindy loved animals, and if possible, she would have adopted every stray dog, cat, and rabbit that needed a home. She enjoyed camping and sitting by the fire, playing darts, listening to oldies music, going to car shows, and watching the Dallas Cowboys with her boys. She also enjoyed baking, often making baked goods for special occasions or just to make someone happy. Cindy's physical absence has left a hole and an unrelenting ache, but she is now at peace, and her memory and spirit will be with us always, wrapping us with a warm embrace if we shed a tear at our loss and resonating in our hearts with every chuckle at a fond memory of happy times shared with this beautiful woman.
Cindy's spirit will be carried on by son Michael K. Herflicker Jr.; grandson Jason M. Herflicker; great grandson Bryson Seip; 3 brothers David L. Jones, Mark A. Jones, Keith S. Jones and 2 sisters Deborah J. Swartzwelder and Kimberly S. Jones. Cynthia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by son Eric Scott Herflicker and brother Michael I. Jones.
A viewing for Cindy will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601.
