Born in Reading on August 21, 1942, he was a son of the late Arthur and Martha (Smith) Miller. After High School, Barry joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
He was employed with Pepsi Cola Company in Reading for ten years. He then took a position with the Coca-Cola Company in Delaware, where he worked for 29 years until he retired in 2004.
Barry belonged to the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, DE and when he lived in Reading, he use to hang out at the Victor Emmauel Pizza Shop. He enjoyed fishing and working on remodeling his street rods. Barry was a hard working man.
Surviving is his wife, Joan M. (Koller) Miller; three sons, Barry Miller, Jr., Todd Miller and Troy Miller; seven grandchildren, Troy, Jr., Michael, Christopher, Jamie, Chad, Cory, and Jason; and four great grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Austin, and Julianna.
Also surviving is a brother, Arthur Miller, Jr. and a sister, Betty Antanucci.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday at the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 12:30 until the time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
