Barbara Ann Button,73, of Exeter Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Born August 30, 1948 in Reading, PA she was a daughter to the late Raymond & Mildred (Steltz) Jones.
Barbara was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1967. She worked as a packer at Bortz Chocolate for 15 years & at Construction Fasteners for 20 years, until her retirement.
Barbara was a woman of sharp wit who enjoyed watching General Hospital, drinking Diet Pepsi, playing cards, listening to Barry Manilow, going to the shore, & swimming in her younger years.
Barbara's spirit will be carried on by her beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas Button; her 2 daughters Heather Hoover (Jeffrey) & Trudy Button, all of Exeter Twp. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren Zachary & Anthony Hoover, cousin Dee Dee Smith, granddog Jeter & 2 bonus grandchildren to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Raymond Jr. & Stanley Jones.
A viewing for Barbara will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Prayer service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 1PM, with Rev. Dr. Robert Aregood officiating. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
