Wilbert R. "Sonny" Javosky Jr.

He was born to parents Wilbert R. and Wilda J. (Sapp) on June 21, 1946 in Maidsville, West Virginia. He was a truck driver for many years, retiring from Rick Kuntz Trucking Co. in 2014. He went to be with the angels to leave many loved ones behind.

Sonny was a Mountaineer fan, loved country music, NASCAR and did not go a day without watching his westerns on TV. He also went to reunite with his wife Alberta Faye whom he was married to for many years, his parents, brother Andy “Bussy”, sister Shirley and infant brother Paul Eddy.

He is survived by his son Wilbert (Jennifer) Javosky III, Bruceton Mills, W.Va., Kari (Sue) Fairmont, W. Va, brother John “Rick” and sisters: Linda May, Bonnie (Mike) Stefanizzi, Nancy (Jeff) Corley all from Maidsville, W.Va and Sandy (Jim) Woody from Lafayette, Georgia. Left also to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He will be missed dearly, I will miss you dearly. Love You!

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. Ravenna, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 11am until the 12pm funeral service, officiated by Pastor Pastor David Ballert. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
