She was born to John Paul and Juanita (Woolard) Morgan on October 17, 1938, in Elizabeth, West Virginia. She lived for many years in Howland, OH retiring from Packard Electric. After retirement, she spent a couple of years sailing to various ports in The Virgin Islands to the Eastern Coast of Mexico and Central America. After her sailing adventure, she settled in The Villages, Florida where she enjoyed golfing, bocce ball and many other activities with her dear friends Sally and MaryBeth. Her health began to decline in late 2018. She has resided at her grandson’s home since then.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Andrea Evans of Ravenna, daughter-in-law and caregiver Tracy Evans. Grandchildren: Michael D. Evans, Ashley Evans, Tomi Evans, and Billy Evans. Great- grandchildren: Aaliyah Evans, James Evans, Sophia Reyes, and Antonio Reyes. Her sister Virginia Pyles and many nieces and nephews also survive Wanda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael S Evans, sister, Iona Buterbaugh, and brothers Denzil Morgan, John Paul Morgan Jr., and Boyd Morgan.
The family would like to thank University Hospital Home Health therapist Karen and nurse Diana for their previous care and Southern Care Hospice Aide Jessica and nurse Lindsey for their tender care the last 2 months.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 11:00am until the funeral service, officiated by Chaplain David Harstine, beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at West Cemetery in Palmyra.
