He was born November 16, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Robert and Ida (Orsini) Dehner. Tom retired as a building inspector for the City of Cleveland and as a special deputy with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department. He loved traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas. Tom also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
He is survived by his daughters: Casie Dehner and her husband Frank Milburn Jr., Kathy Morris, and Mandi and her husband Jim Workman; and his brothers Ron (Lisa) Dehner and Robert Dehner. Tom’s memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Tommy Dehner, Aiden Dehner, Bryan Jones, Thomas Morris III, Joseph Smallfield, Kaytlin Smallfield, and Mackenzie Smallfield. Tom also leaves behind his beloved dogs Cleo, Peanut, and Earl. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Frank Dehner, and his dog Marvin just a few weeks ago.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with Reverend Bill Wisniewski officiating the memorial service at 6:00 PM.
