Thomas L. Burkhart

Thomas was born in Alliance, Ohio on June 5, 1942 to parents, Thomas L. and Edith (Stouffer) Burkhart. He spent a career in manufacturing at Alliance Wall Company and retired from Greensteel Company. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing, bird watching and wildlife, especially the deer that roamed behind his home. He also enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, having garage sales and riding his motorcycle. Above all, Tom loved spending time with his family at picnics, parties and many family events. His dry sense of humor will be deeply missed. Mr. Burkhart was a wonderful family man who, with his wife raised a very close family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Pat. Tom is also survived by his beautiful daughters, Teresa (Steve) Rossow, Lisa (Doug) Stanley and Winola “Winnie” (C.J.) Sprague. He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Willa (Bill) Birckbichler and Bonnie (Dennis) Gillman as well as his Aunt Marlene Corson.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his loving son, Thomas Burkhart, Jr.

Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St, Ravenna, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 11am until the 1pm memorial service officiated by Pastor Roy Teague. Interment will follow at Deerfield Cemetery.
