She was born September 25, 1983, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Dominic and Dawn Bellino. Teresa graduated from Ravenna High School in 2001. She earned her bachelor’s at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and then earned a Master’s Degree in Marketing from American InterContinental University.
Teresa loved the beaches and warm weather of Pensacola, Florida, where she was an Academic Dean of Education for Fortis College. She returned to Northeast Ohio for health reasons and worked for Portage Community Bank and Lentz, Noble & Heavner LLC. She enjoyed all the major league Cleveland sports teams, spending time with her friends and being Aunt Tee to their children, crafting, and most importantly family.
Although her time on this world was short, Teresa touched so many lives. She was strong, courageous, generous, thoughtful, and ridiculously funny. Her motto was, “Be nice, be kind, and say thank you.” Hopefully her loving spirit will be carried on by her friends and loved ones. Teresa is survived by her parents, her sister Angelina Bellino, her grandmother Maria Bellino, her aunts and uncles: Dan (Lory) Bellino, Robert Crowder Jr., and Marie Wright, as well as all of her cousins, extended family, friends, and her rescued kitty, “Piper.”
Teresa was preceded in death by her grandparents Rocco Bellino, Dixie and Robert Crowder Sr., Uncle Michael A. Crowder and Aunt Juanita L Wright.
The family would like to thank Dr. Isabella Glitza of MD Anderson who was Teresa’s special doctor and constant cheerleader; also the doctors, staff and especially the 4th and 5th floor nurses of U.H. Seidman Cancer Center for the care and support provided to Teresa over these past months.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend William Kraynak on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W Main St., Ravenna. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Guests must wear masks and practice social distancing.
The mass will be livestreamed on Teresa’s obituary page at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com, where condolences and memories may also be shared with her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Rose’s Rescue, the Portage APL, or the MD Anderson Cancer Research Center.
